WINEMAKING NOTES
This wine is made from machine harvested fruit, harvested in the early hours of the morning, then tipped directly into the press and given a few hours skin contact. The skin contact provided flavour and tone needed for this style of wine. Free run juice was fermented in stainless steel and the pressings were fermented in old oak barrels. Some of the pressings went back into the final blend giving weight, complexity and added texture.
TASTING NOTES
The nose on the 2025 Pinot Grigio shows plenty of lifted nashi pear, elderflower, kiwi fruit, granny smith apples, stone fruit and a hint of yeast lees. The palate has lovely floral notes and a lovely acid line balanced with a touch of phenolic grip. This wine is a refreshing, aromatic white style perfect for the warmer months.
