TASTING NOTES
Plum purple at the core with a delicate pale rim, this vibrant red opens with lifted red fruit aromas. The palate shows sweet fruit up front, balanced by soft acidity and gentle tannins, creating a smooth, easy-drinking style.
WINEMAKING
Crushed into small vats with 10% whole bunch, fermented cool with gentle cap management. Aged 9 months in 2 -3 year old French oak barrels. Minimal finings, inaugural release as a dry red for this variety.
Fruit/Vineyard: Estate grown, North South trellis, North facing aspect, mixture of gravel and loam soil, cane pruned, machine harvested. Picked at 13.5 Baume.
